Dear Parents,

Happy Sunday! I hope you are having a blessed and restful day. I wanted to take a moment to share some important dates and reminders with you.

📸 Class Group Pictures – We will be taking class group pictures on Wednesday, March 26th. If you would like to purchase a copy of this wonderful keepsake to celebrate this incredible year, please send $10 with your child on Monday. If you don’t have the picture envelope, no worries—I will take care of everything on my end.

🌍 Planet Science Project – This project is due on Tuesday, March 25th. All necessary details are available on our class website (www.drhicksclass.com). I have provided all the materials needed except for the Styrofoam ball and paint. Please ensure your child is prepared to submit their project on time.

📅 End of the 3rd Nine Weeks – Wednesday, March 26th, marks the end of the third nine weeks. It is truly hard to believe that we are entering the final stretch of this school year! I have cherished every moment teaching your children, witnessing their growth both academically and in their maturity. We have faced challenges together, but through it all, they have shown resilience and strength.

🎓 Cap and Gown Pictures – As they prepare to transition from elementary to middle school, I plan to take cap and gown pictures of each student. This is a special milestone, and I want them to have a keepsake of this moment. Once the pictures are ready, I will send home a copy. If you would like additional copies, I will also provide a digital version. I know this will be a bittersweet time for me—I love each of my students dearly and consider it a privilege to be part of their journey.

 As we move forward into these last nine weeks, I encourage you to join me in uplifting and motivating your children to finish strong and excel on the EOG test. Let’s continue to work together to support them in their success.
